Day 6 – 5 things you can’t live without in lolita.

1. Other lolis. Whatever through Internet or in real live, seeing other lolis always gives me inspiration and a will to go on with my frilliness. I love our communities, and really, I don't think they're THAT mean. I enjoy reading lolita themed blogs, looking through daily lolita post, and of course most of all I enjoy meeting up with my friends for cup of tea.

2. Under things. I know some lolis don't ever wear bloomers, but I personally adore them! They're comfortable, they give me a sense of security, and, most of all, they're so adorable. Petticoats are wonder full too, of course.

3.Taking time to get ready. Throwing on a dress and rushing out the door is really no art. I love to spend hours getting ready before I go out, making sure my make up and hair are looking good. The transformation from "ordinary girl" to a Gothic Lolita always makes me happy.

4. Kamikaze Girls and other movies with pretty dresses.

5. My dresses, of course. I've already got my hands on most of my dream items, and it's the best thing in the world to sit around in them and sip tea from fancifull tea cups. I wish I didn't have such a busy life so I could do it more often...

Day 5 – 10 items from your wishlist.

This post is going to be fun to write, I always have so many things in my wish list! I consider my lolita wardrobe to be pretty much complete, but there is still plenty items which I would love to have, although I might not actually need them.  I decided to try not to buy anything for lolita for next couple of months though, we'll see how it'll go.
Anyway, of to the wish list!

1. Long sleeved chiffon black one piece. Moi Meme Moitie would be my first choice, but any brand would do as far as it has the light and but still dark effect I'm looking for.

2. One Moi meme Moitie print item. I don't have my heart set on any particular print. I feel like at least one Moitie print is a must have for every Gothic Lolita.

 3. Atelier Pierrot print One Piece. Atelier Pierrot is one of my favorite brands, they're designs are really flattering on my body type. And I adore the dark but still classic feel they have.

4. Atelier Pierrot long corset dress. It really is breathtaking.

5. A simple black JSK. For some reason I still don't have one. I'd love to have this one by Victorian Maiden.

6. Victorian Maiden or Mary Magdalene floral JSK. I want to wear a dress like this on my graduation day.

7.  A long sleeved blouse, in black and white.

8. Long sleeve blouse with high collar, in black.

9. Cute heels for casual everyday wear. In black, of course.

10. Accessories. Round headdress, rose corsages, sock, little side bows, wrist cuffs. A lolita can never own to much of those.I'd also like to have a brand tote bag and parasol.

 11. Bonus! Vampire Forest print. I'm a happy owner of two Vampire Requiems,  and I'd like to have all vampire themed prints by Alice and the Pirates.  Hopefully there is more to come!

12. Meta Moonlight Night in Black. I was really close to getting the JSK once, but in the end it didn't work out. Next time!

Day 4 – 10 different kinds of food you like

I'm a vegetarian, so I never eat meat. But I love eating sweet things! Right now I'm trying to loose couple of kgs, so I can just dream of eating  more then half of the things I mention.

1. Pancakes.

2. Waffles.

3. Cakes, cookies, muffins, cupcakes.

4. Soups.

5. Ice cream.

6. Tea tea tea, I especially love classic black tea like Earl Grey or English Breakfast.

7. Pizza.

8. Nachos.

9. Macaroons.

10. Fruits.

Day 3 – 5 things you hate in lolita

I don't really "hate" anything in lolita, but I might dislike this and that. So this list is more of my dislikes then something I absolutely hate.

1. Cheap lace and bad quality. Not in my lolita.

2. Customs. Ok I do hate those. Icelandic customs can be really, really horrible, not once did they charge 80% of what I actually paid in a first place.

3. Wigs. This is my personal opinion, and I don't want to offend anyone. But for me wigs are a step to far, and it makes lolita more into a costume.

4. I dislike that one can't just throw lolita clothes into a washing machine. I'm really scared of bleeding prints, which luckily never happened to me personally.

5. Print replicas. Replicas over all can be nice, and I did own a few print replicas. But with time I have grown to dislike them.

Day 2 – 10 things you love in lolita

Didn't post for so long, guess I'm really not that good at keeping up a blog!

This day of meme is really easy, there's just so much to love about lolita!

1. It's elegance and femininity. Lolita makes one look beautiful without trying to look sexy, it's just prettiness for sake of prettiness.

2. Lace. After encouraging the most beautiful lace in lolita, I will never look this same at "lace" seen in mainstream clothes.

3. Details. Ruffles, lace, pin tucks, shirring, corseting, prints... I can look at my dresses for really long time, admiring all this.

4. Communities. Our Icelandic community is finally starting to, well exist, all thanks to amazing A ( A's blog ). Having tea parties and just having someone to simply talk with about our love for lolita is really a great thing.

5.  The variety, there's just so much to choose from. Anytime I think I've already seen all the prettiest dresses, there comes something new that takes my breath away.

6. Lifestyle ideas. Tea parties, embroidery, reading classic book, having "princess days" and walks in a park are totally my thing.

7. Themes. Especially the vampire one.

8.  That it's so heavily inspired by 18th and 19th century clothing. I love Victorian era, and find lolita to be a now days version of victorian clothes.

9. Head dresses. Lolita has the most amazing head wear.

10. The excitement it comes with. I love the feeling when I finally get the dresses I've been looking for ages on my hands, it really makes me happy!

Hello and 30 Day Lolita Meme

Hello
This is my new blog, and it's going to be all lolita-centric. To introduce myself, I thought that doing meme might be a fun. 30 Day Lolita Meme seemed like a perfect one, so here!

Day 1 – 5 things about your lolita bubble

1.Up until recently I used to be a lone lolita, but now our tiny Icelandic community is finally starting to get alive.

2. When I started lolita over 2 years ago, I fell for sweet. But with time I discovered sweet does not suit me. Best styles for me are gothic or toned down classic.
3. I love Victoria era. I'm starting to collect books that were written in or around Victorian times, I just love the feel they have to it.

4. I'm a vegetarian, which isn't really lolita connected (lolita is not a reason why I'm a veggie), but I think that love for animals goes really well with this fashion. Personal opinion really.

5.Before lolita, I've been into alternative fashion for already couple of years, mostly goth. Now I'm just a metal chick when I'm not in my frills.

And, that would be it for today!
